Visit to Grandma Olivers

This post is a couple months old but still wanted to post. Went up north to visit Steve's mom, sister and brother. Spent one day going to zoo.

Spencer loves monkey's and was totally enthralled when he saw his first ones. (Side note: Spencer knows the sounds that dogs, cats, cows, snakes, bears, horses, and monkey's make. Monkey is my favorite though. "Spencer what does a monkey say?" --- "Aw Aw Aw Aw")

His T-rex shirt was very appropriate. Hogle zoo has a dinosaur theme going on right now. They had life size-animatronic dinosaurs all over the zoo. Also had a few to pose with....
Spencer was as tall as the child ape but his arms are a little too short.
Gorilla just chillin

Daddy showing Spencer the tigers
They are constructing a new section of the zoo, so they had a random sand/construction place. Jessica had a little fun with it.

This dinosaur roared really loud-it make Spencer a little nervous.

Jessica makes an awesome turtle!
Spencer makes a cuter one though...
Robin, Spencer and Jessica all seeing what it's like to be a gopher.
Because of travel and not being in his normal bed, Spencer only got about 8 hours of sleep the night before (used to about 11) and he skipped his morning nap so he was pretty tired after being at the zoo all day. This picture was taken about 3 mins after we got in the car.
This is a pretty scary picture. What it would look like if Spencer had a twin.
We also stopped by and took a walk around the temple.

It was a really fun trip-thank you mom!
