My dad had his 60th birthday. The little boys and I drove down to surprise him. I called him while we were pulling in to "chat" and while we were talking I walked in the front door. It was great seeing his surprised face. Then he was such a good sport, immediately let us take over his home, get settled and get the boys to bed. The next day we went swimming, took him out to eat and had cake and presents at Amber's house.
I gathered pictures and letters from all of dad's kids and grandkids and put them into a book for him.
Daniel's girlfriend Amy made the best German Chocolate I've ever had.
