Thanksgiving 2016

I love how different my kids are. Steve's mom gave us all a notebook on Thanksgiving that we're supposed to write 3 things we're thankful for each day. Spencer (my ever serious and kind hearted boy) has written things like: My family, My home, mom and dad, My friends, the world and My life. Rod: Christmas, milk, juice, Valentines Day, Halloween and Jelly. For preschool they made these thankful trees, where they wrote what they were thankful for on the leaves. All the other kids said things like mom, dad, brother or sisters, Jesus etc. Rod: Watermelon, sandwiches, apples, pickles, yogurt, cheese, marshmallows and toys.
We had everyone over here for dinner. It was mighty good. As always. Everyone helped cook. Robin did the Turkey, stuffing, fruit salad and apple pie. I did the rolls, potatoes, gravy, and pumpkin pie. And single siblings brought all the canned food :)
