Summer Fun

These were some of the funner highlights from the summer.
Took the boys to a Hot Air Balloon Festival. It's one of my favorite summer traditions. Early morning, donuts and balloons. It was Jeffrey's first year. He thought it was fun- but also very loud. He was also the one I couldn't get out of bed, "Just 5 more minutes"

Jeffrey's first swimming lessons. It was quite the adventure. He loved the water. Too much. The first day I had to roll up my pants and go in after him because he wouldn't get out. And most of the lessons was him army crawling as slow as he could after the rest of his class as they moved from one rotation to the next. He missed most of the actual instruction but had a great time crawling through the water *face palm.*
Right circle is his class. Left circle is Jeffrey very slowly but surely making his way over to them. Then as soon as he finally got there- they'd move to another section of the pool to work on a different skill and he'd slowly start the cycle all over again.
But he graduated. Hallelujah.
Annual Neighborhood Peach Tree Concert. Always a good time.
Neighbor Kid's Book club. We did one class for Rod and his age group and another for Spencer this year. I didn't get any pics of Rod's but we had a great time with his too. Rod's books were- Pete the Cat, Who Would Win series and Dory Fantasmagory. Spencer's books were- The Who Was series, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Holes.
Strawberries and Sprinklers. Yes please summertime.
