Random Cell Phone Treasures

Our Chubby Boy
In Honor or the last Harry Potter movie (This was when Aunt Jessica took him to a carnival or something at their church while they were baby-sitting him for us. She was helping with face painting and included Spencer)
My beautiful sister Amber with Spencer and her cute little daughter Taylor.
They are only 5 weeks apart.
Aunt Jess made Spencer this awesome hat!
It was so cute when it fit him, but still fun even when it didn't.

Fell asleep while playing with his toy.
Spencer and Cousin Taylor (from earlier picture) when they were both just a month or two old.
Spencer used to smile and laugh when he had gas.
Cousis Kyra and Spencer...just being adorable.
Our handsome little man! He looks so grown up.

Go Disney!

Disclaimer for Steve: All three days he had Dramamine to help him with his motion sickness. So as "happy and excited" as he looks in all the photos, he really is.

Our first picture in Disneyland-Steve waiting for the Matterhorn ride to start.
Katie in front of the Matterhorn.

Flying through space!

Waiting in line for everything was the best ride ever...

Waiting for Captain EO to start. Awesome movie staring Michael Jackson- Love when they bring back the 80's.

On a jungle cruise getting attacked by a cobra (see in the middle background)

Catch of the day.

California Adventures

Mickey was shorter than we thought he was going to be.

The new toy from Toy Story Four.

On the Ferris Wheel

I was most like Cinderella-the little girl in front of us was most like Mrs Potts- You should have seen her face when she saw the results, (she was first shocked and then almost cried she was so disappointed).

PLUTO!

Small Monsters Inc. Parade

Waiting for the train around Disneyland to get going.

We saw Belle while we were waiting in the train. (she's my fave)

Steve was surprised that this was in the middle of the park and not the front.

This was at least 5oo lbs.

Steve was thrown into Disney Jail for trying to go on a kids ride that he was too big for.

Minnie Mouse's House-Love the phone-look at the huge pencil!

Indiana Jones ride was broken and they shut it down... It was even closed the other two days we were there. We were so close we decided to wait-it was about a half hour wait-not too bad. And totally worth it. I got to be the driver!

Boo for rides not working right.

It's a small world ride (Steve's favorite)

Aladdin and Jasmine

DUMBO!

Buzz Light Year ride (we are pointing to the level we each got)

Fantasmic (reflecting images off the water-it was pretty cool)

It was great Fun. The Fireworks and Fantasmic was a sweet ending to a great trip.

Spencer's Adventures

I was folding laundry and Spencer was being a little too quiet. When I found him he was in the bathroom and had emptied out my entire package of floss. I picked it all up and and then started doing my hair. Spencer was still holding the floss dispenser and I didn't think he could do anymore harm since it was empty. A minute or 2 later I looked down and both his hands were completely covered in blood. I (as quickly and calmly as possible so I wouldn't freak him out)took him to the sink and started rinsing off both his hands to I could figure out where the cut was. He had cut his thump on the metal part of the floss dispenser that cuts the floss. It was such a clean cut he didn't even notice and it was bleeding like crazy. I kept trying to put bandaids on it but it was bleeding so much it kept soaking through the bandaid. After the 3rd one he got sick of holding still and it was still bleeding like crazy. Luckily I had a sucker in my purse that distracted him long enough for me to tape gauze around his finger.

My Two injured boys. Steve's knee didn't appreciate him playing basketball.

Steve's mom kept his little brother Brian's cowboy hat from when he was a little boy. Spencer absolutely loves it! We say "Where's your cowboy hat?" And he runs off and comes back with it on with this big smile on his face. Also notice the shoe. He loves shoes. He steals everyone's shoes and walks around the house wearing them. If we're ever missing the shoe the first place we look is Spencer's room.

Other cute things about Spencer:
-He recently discovered he can walk backwards
-He loves "playing" xbox with his Dad.
-When his dad is watching sports on TV he thinks it's the xbox still so he'll get the xbox controller and "plays"
-When he sees a picture of Jesus he gets really excited, points and says "Sus-sss"
-He likes to feed himself with a spoon but he turns the spoon upside down on route to his mouth so he can only feed himself sticky stuff-like oatmeal and thick apple sauce.

I thought he kind of looked like a 90's skater kid...so I took a picture.
