35

Made it to my mid-thirties and it was a blast. The celebrations lasted all week with friends and family showing so much love.
Escape Room with Brenna and JP
Met the Wastlund girls in Salt Lake for Kimball and Amber's Birthday celebration. We went out to eat, did a bit of shopping and then went and saw the musical Anastasia.

The next day we met Noelani, Sallee, Lydia and Connie and another birthday dinner.

While Amber was in the area she came and was a guest speaker at my Relief Society Activity.
Last but not least I met Maranea and Lyndsi for dinner.

Janurary 2022

These two are my cuddlers.
We went to hang out with Wells while Jessica and Chase packed and cleaned their house.

Jessica and the fam moved in with us for a few days before they moved and Aunt Jessica gave Andrea her very first hair cut.
I've been babysitting Lily and Hudson Southwick. Lily has become one of Andrea's best friends; even though she's Jeffrey's age :)

Jeffrey likes to write me notes and draw him pictures about how much he loves me. *melt my heart* This day made me chuckle. He drew the picture below and gave me to me, but then I did something that made him mad so he took the picture and drew the top part.
I had an appointment in Salt Lake so I dropped the kids off at Ensign college to have lunch with Grandma and Grandpa. They showed him around the college and then had whatever they wanted at the KSL studio cafe.

Rod won the "Mustand Pride" award at school. The award is for students who show all the P.R.I.D.E. attribute. Polite, respect, integrity, discipline, effort.  One student from each grade get chosen once a month. So nine 3rd graders a year earn it and he was one. He totally deserved it too. He's a great kid.
Jeffrey survived 100 days of school.
For Taylor and Spencer's birthday we let him take a Shuttle bus down to St. George to attend Taylor's birthday party. He went all by himself. He was a little nervous but he did great. A great first step into becoming an independent teenager.

Girls Trip to Vegas

Me and some of my High School gal pals went on a weekend girls trip to Las Vegas. I wasn't sure if we were going to make it happen but I'm so glad we did. Dressing up, matching Pj's, climbing boulders, good food, good conversation, laughing, crying, reminiscing; girls trips are good for the soul.

Left to Right: Melissa, Jennifer, Caitlin, Me, Brenna and Michelle

It was Brenna and Michelle's birthday right before and after the trip so we put together a little junk food charcuterie board and all went around in a circle and said things we loved about them. It was actually a very beautiful and emotional conversations and one of my favorite parts of the trip.

Jeffrey's 6th Birthday

On Jeffrey's actual birthday a few of us had COVID so we were quarantined at home. It was sad because we had a birthday party planned for the day and Grandma and Grandpa Woodstock were going to take him out to lunch. But we rallied and made it work. Grandparents dropped off some Soda and popcorn onto the porch instead and we moved his party to the next week. He had a ton of friends come to his Super hero party we threw at the church. Then Grandpa and grandma took him out to eat a couple weeks later. We loved celebrating this hilarious and cute little kiddo.

Left to Right: Logan Romney, Evan Carter, Lincoln Scott, Lily Southwick, Zane Arnold, Stockton Norris, Andrea and Jeff, Willow Drysdale, Everley Sievers, Emma Mattice, Zachary Scott.

New Years Eve

New Years Eve day we got a huge snow storm. I had to work that day and it was not fun digging myself out and driving there, but the kids loved playing in. It was a very cold end to the year.

2021

Looking back at 2021 it was a lot longer than I remembered! Haha
Tons of stuff happened and narrowing it down to my top 9 was hard.
-Andrea mastered potty training (My last kid in diapers!)
-My parents started serving a mission in Salt Lake City which means we’re only an hour away for now.
-Spencer Started middle school and survived COVID.
-A relaxing family vacation to Pine Valley
-I was re-accepted to BYU and started school again this fall.
-Jeffrey got glasses and had surgery to fix his umbilical hernia.
-Woodstock family reunion (and a new nephew, niece and my first great niece)
-Rod proved me right and was my first kid to get stitches.
-And at the center of it all- the love of my life and the beautiful family we’ve made.

Christmas 2021

Loved getting out my china and making a cute new napkin design. This was one of my favorite things to do growing up was help decorate the table. I wish I did it more. Maybe now that kids are older I will.

Christmas Eve. Wells make the cutest and chunkiest baby Jesus in our Nativity.

Santa Came. So Magical from the top of the stairs. Love that this is the first things my kids see when they wake up.
The only picture I got from Christmas morning. I’m always having too much watching the fun to take pictures.
