Cedar City & St. George

 The kids and I spent the first part of summer in Cedar City and St. George visiting family and swimming in as many pools as possible. First we stopped in Cedar City to visit Scott's family. We took Perrin to swim in our hotel pool but it was closed so we took him to local creek instead haha. Then we babysat the boys so Scott and Danielle could go on a little date. 

Cutest part was getting this picture from Danielle after we left. Jeffrey drew it out on their patio. S is for Snoopy, P is for Perrin, and J is for Jeffrey. 

 

The kids favorite part of staying in a hotel is watching TV in bed haha. 

Pool #1. We finally got to use the pool early next morning before check. 

After check out we headed to St. George to hang with the Wastlunds.

We babysat Vickie one of the nights so Daniel and Rebekah could go on a date. Jeffrey and Andrea loved hanging out with their dog Breeze. 

Pool #4. Pool at Daniel and Rebekah's clubhouse. We had a BBQ at Daniel's house with the whole (local) Woodstock family and then we all headed over to the pool to swim.

Hello Summer

Started off the summer season (right before school ended) with swim lessons. Their teacher took underwater of all the students. The usually turn out pretty cool looking. My kids weren't amazing at it. Haha

When Andrea is not impressed...

Last day of school! We invited neighbors to come have popsicles at our house right after school. 

 

Goodbye Principal Duncan

 This kids had an awesome Principal- Mike Duncan that I also got to work with a lot through PTA. I was PTA president elect his first year  and President his second year so we figured a lot of things out together. We were all very sad when he got a job with district. He had said for years he wished he could work on the roof one day. So the PTA board rallied and made it happen his second to last day. 

I came up with the present and I thought it was pretty cute. 

Track and Field

Boys did track through the city this year and they both did really well for their age groups. They were both very proud to earn a medal each at the end of season regional track meet. 

They use foam javelins for the kids. 

One reason I love city sports is the opportunity to make friends with kids from all over the city.

Kindergarten Graduation Jeffrey

This cute boy had his Kindergarten graduation today. We wore matching shirts and got Happy meals to celebrate. P.S. he did his "cool smile" for his graduate picture.
