Trying to fly a kite, but the wind was not cooperating.
Took a cute picture of Rod so of course Spencer wanted me to take a picture of him too.
Steve got tickets to a Jazz game from work. It was my first one and it was so much fun. We had a fan from the other team behind us that was very vocal. Luckily the Jazz won, so he had to eat his words. :)
Spencer wanted to take an early morning selfie. (Tired eyes)
Spencer took about 10 minutes setting up these animals "just right".
Spencer's new favorite thing is to draw his own books. He has a whole collection now on his book shelf. They are mostly rip offs of Curious George cartoons. He draws the pictures and then dictates to me what to say. My hand writing is horrible because he talks a mile a minute and I'm trying to keep up.
The boys love the carts at Home Depot. Sometimes we go just to ride in the carts.
Skating with the Skates the boys got from Grandpa Woodstock for Christmas. We put Rod's on #1 setting, which means the wheels don't move and he can just walk. His favorite part was to "fall down". He would shake his bum, then shake his hands, sit down and then lay down. The whole time saying, "Whoa, whoa, whoa!"
More Selfie's with Spencer.
Kids fall asleep in the darnedest places.
Rod has been getting into dressing up lately. He'll have even more fun when the outfits actually fit.
Again-Spencer always has to have his time in the limelight too.
We've been very fortunate this Fall/Winter season, we have only gotten sick once. Spencer got sick for his second time though. I should have known something was wrong when we were out running errands and I asked if he wanted to stop at McDonalds for lunch (which he always begs me to do and I never say yes) and he said no, that he just wanted to go home and get warm. It was a cold day so I just went with it. He got home and he went to take a nap in a my bed. He woke up with a fever, had something to drink and then went back to bed. He slept all afternoon, woke up and acted like nothing had ever happened. Dodged a bullet there.
Spencer started soccer this season and it's pretty hilarious. His team doesn't have practices, so they have no idea what's going on. We've tried to practice with Spencer at home but it's a lot different at the games with other kids playing too. It comes down to- he is just too nice. After the first game when we asked him why he didn't kick the ball away from the other team he said he didn't want to because they were his friends. But he gets great exercise. He runs up and down that field over and over again and never gets tired.
Steve's friend had some extra tickets to a Jazz game so they invited Spencer and Rod. They rode the train up and Spencer had so much! He still talks about it.
