Oliver Family Reunion

We had all the Oliver kids in one place at one time- so we made the most of it and had an Oliver Family Reunion!

First we had a late birthday party for Brian.

Friday night all the kids and Mom went to the temple together (I am not pictured because this was my first time leaving Jeffrey with a non-family member babysitter so I was nervous and ran home as soon as we were done. Of course everything was fine and I worried for nothing)

Saturday was a long, awesome day. It was Pioneer Day Weekend so first we went to Pioneer Day Breakfast at our church. Yummy waffle buffet, story telling, games, crafts and Children's parade.

Then we went back to our house and mom had a craft for us. She bought shirts for everyone and spray-painting on the front "Family Is..." and then on the back we had painted and drew what we felt family was. Steve-Life. Me-Everything. Spencer-Forever. Rod-Funny. Jeffrey- we actually didn't finish so we just said cute.

After lunch we went swimming for a couple hours when we met Tim and Paula back at house for dinner. They ended up being in town as well for Paula's dad's funeral. We were sad for the circumstances but so glad we were able to all be together with them. We went out and took family pictures and then just spent time talking and playing around before they headed out.

Before we ended the night we did a family talent show. We had piano, guitar playing, singing and more. Jennifer did some songs with actions with the kids, pictured below.

Steve showed a video he made for work.

Spencer recited nursery rhymes and Rod did a magic trick. I showed some of my cross-stitching work.

Sunday we all went to church together, had Sunday dinner and just hung out and enjoyed each others company.  

This all happened over the weekend before we were supposed to move to our new house. So our house was full of boxes and a bit chaotic, but it all worked out.
