Summer Randomness

The boys fight a lot during the summer. So they get kicked outside a lot. Then they make my heart melt.

This paper airplane flew into my room after fighting with Spencer before he went to bed.
"Dear mom, Mom I want to tell you something. Even when you don't do what I want and I get mad, inside I'm not really mad. Love you. Love, your little boy Spencer"
My not so little, little boy.
Steve and his co-worker buddy Alex.
For the millionth time "Mom take a picture of us."
I finished cross-stitching Jeffrey's stocking and decided to try and sew it into a stocking myself. It was not a great job, to say the least, and it took me forever. But I got it done.

We decided to try out the chick-fil-a cow appreciation day for the first time this year. The boys had a blast (although you can't tell from the picture). Jeffrey kept saying, "Me a cow. Mooooo!"
Date night with Spencer. Slurpee's up to the Spanish Fork Reservoir.

4th of July 2018

Kiwanis pancake breakfast.

We took the boys to lunch and then to the splash pad.
Jeffrey's face makes me melt every time I see it.

We are never short of fireworks in our neighborhood. The night before the fourth the Donakey's invites the neighborhood over to watch fireworks in their yard.
The night of the fourth we have neighbors all over the places blowing things up. So we go outside with lawn chairs and watch the boys do poppers and sparklers until it gets dark and then watch the show.

Cub Scout Day Camp

Spencer's first cub scout day camp.

Ward Luau

Our ward had Luau. Lavern Soelberg taught a hula class a couple months leading up to the luau. I was not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. But it was a lot of fun. I even got my cousins Keola and Noelani to join us.

Summer Fun

Splash pad with friends and pizza.

Youth Arts Festival. Rod took a dance class and Spencer took a Harry Potter art class.

Visit from Grandma

One of many fun hikes

Baby Girl Oliver

We have a LOT of learning to do before October. Baby GIRL Oliver is on her way!
I was totally shocked when the ultrasound tech told us it was a girl and immediately burst into tears. Tears of joy. Although I truly would have been happy whether it was a boy or a girl, deep down I was hoping it would be girl. I'd like to see what a baby girl Oliver looks like. She was crazy during the ultrasound. She was moving all over the place, flipping this way and that. Tech said she was a wild one. Hope that's not a bad omen. :)

After we found out I went through all the baby boy clothes to sell and give away. There were a lot of memories going through everything. I'll miss my little boys. But it was very fun going girl clothes shopping.

Last Days of School

Rod graduated from preschool. I can't believe Rod is done with preschool. And I can't believe I'm done teaching these kids. I've had them the last two years and they've grown so much. BUT I'm also so happy to be done teaching! I'm taking a year off and am looking forward to it. :)

Park Party on the last day of preschool.

First day of preschool, first day of the second year of preschool, last day of preschool.
Rod also did an online preschool called Upstart and graduated from that as well.
Spencer's third grade end of year program.
His two best buddies. Tristan Hales and Peyton Dafoe.
First and Last Day of school with Mrs. Burnside.
End of school water party.

Banner and Popsicles waiting for Rod and Spencer when he got home from school.
